Academy Schools
We work in partnership with academy trusts across the UK to develop bespoke learning environments for pupils attending academy schools with specialisms in theatre, sports, language or STEM subjects.
Academy trusts across the UK are opening new schools and improving existing estates. We work with the trusts independently and through a variety of framework routes to construct exceptional learning environments at primary and secondary level.
Pre-school & primary
We’re building environments to inspire learning and creativity in young people to give them the best start in their education.
With demand for primary school places increasing every year, we have the knowledge, skills and experience to deliver high quality yet affordable solutions, from one-form or two-form entry expansions to existing estates, to bespoke new build provision and model schools – a flexible off-the-shelf option harnessing the benefits of standardisation to save time and cost.
We have provided thousands of additional primary school places through individual tendered projects or via a number of our regional framework arrangements.
At all times we integrate with the communities that we work within and support a number of initiatives that create a safe and pleasant environment for staff, pupils and public for the duration of any project and beyond.
Secondary
We’re building exciting environments to meet the learning and pastoral needs of secondary aged pupils in the UK.
We understand that every student has their own goals and ambitions as they begin their path to adulthood and that many will be unclear of their career aspirations when they reach key milestones.
Our experience of delivering secondary schools enables us to provide tailored solutions to suit the broad spectrum of today’s educational needs.
Our ability to minimise disruption and maintain and improve attainment while working around teaching accommodation is one of our key strengths. We take the time to understand the current curriculum, pupil role and school day in order to maximise the opportunity to relocate students within the existing facilities, and phase any demolition and remodelling to avoid the need for unnecessary temporary accommodation.
Working for Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council we delivered a state-of-the-art new comprehensive for Y Pant School in South Wales, completely replacing their old campus. Here you can hear from school staff, pupils and our customer on what makes the new building.
Higher Education (HE)
We’ve delivered a range of bespoke science, arts, sports facilities and more for universities and higher education organisations.
Our focus is on working with universities to create inspirational and attractive learning environments that help improve both educational attainment and the student experience.
Universities face new challenges as the Higher Education sector adapts to changes in both the UK economy and government legislation.
These changes, combined with increases in tuition fees and competition from overseas universities, have created an ever more competitive market for Higher Education. The need for universities to continue investing in their buildings is therefore paramount.
Our projects range from small extensions and refurbishment works, including those within listed buildings, to large scale remodelling and new build facilities both on and off campus.
